Case study · Navy Museum Development Foundation

A brand and a website for the next national Navy museum.

The Navy Museum Development Foundation raises the funds to build the new National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington, D.C. KMC Digital created its logo and colors and built its website from the ground up.

The client

The Navy Museum Development Foundation (NMDF) exists to preserve the heritage of the United States Navy by raising the funds to establish a National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington, D.C.

The challenge

A new foundation with a national mission and no public identity yet: no logo, no colors, and no website for donors, partners, and the Navy community to find.

A brand built from the vision.

We developed the Foundation's logo and color palette from its own presentation deck, so the brand carried the look of the museum it was raising money to build.

A new website, built from the ground up.

A WordPress site that tells the museum's story and gives every audience a next step: learn about the campus, meet the leadership, follow the news, and donate.
