Case study · Burn Pits 360
A brand system for a national advocacy movement.
Burn Pits 360 had grown from one family's fight into a national organization with five programs. Its brand hadn't kept up. We kept what veterans recognized and built everything around it.
The client
Burn Pits 360 is a national veterans advocacy nonprofit founded by Rosie and Le Roy Torres, focused on advocacy, awareness, and accountability for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits and their families. KMC Digital has served as its fractional marketing director since June 2025.
The challenge
Five programs, each with its own look. A palette and typeface that read as generic. And a seal that veterans, lawmakers, and partners already knew and trusted, which meant starting over wasn’t an option.
Keep the seal. Fix everything around it.
Recognition is an asset. We preserved the seal and rebuilt the system that carries it.

One family of program logos.
Each program now reads as part of the same organization, so every touchpoint builds the parent brand.

Color and type.
